Forthcoming Events for 2010

 August

Fulford branch are holding a Summer Supper, with live music on the evening of Monday 2nd August 7.30pm.  We are extremely grateful to our hosts Mike and Cherry Dodson who are allowing us use of their delightful gardens for the event.  Tickets are £17.50 per person and are available from the Stone Office on 01785 811000.

The gardens will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday of the following weekend, between 2pm and 5pm as part of the National Garden Scheme.

September

Checkley Branch have organised a Traditional Afternoon Tea at Heath House, Tean, Staffordshire (as feataured on Channel 4's Country House Rescue) on Sunday 12th September from 3.00pm onwards.  Sandwiches and Cream Tea will be served in the gardens if the weather is fine or inside the hall if not, price is £10 per adult, £5 for children (7-16yrs) and includes entry to the house and gardens.  Please book by September 5th 2010 by either phoning the Checkley Branch secretary on 01538 724688 or emailing dtrigger@btinternet.com or by contacting the Stone Constituency Office on 01785 811000.  Payment in advance please.

Stone Ladies Committee are holding a Fashion Show with Afternoon Tea in conjunction with Barbara Powell of Stafford on Thursday 14th October at the Upper House Hotel, Barlaston.  For further details and to reserve a ticket please contact the office on 01785 811000.

Are you and Egghead? are you a Mastermind?  Join Fulford Branch at their annual Team Quiz on Friday 12th November,  7.30pm in Hilderstone Village Hall.  Tickets are only £6.50 per person to include food, there will be a cash bar.  It's always a great night.... all you need to bring is your grey matter!
