Cash calls on Planning Inspectorate to reject proposed Pingle Lane wind turbines – and recommend refusal of proposals in report to the Secretary of State

The Planning Inspectorate have recently confirmed that the planning appeal is currently waiting to go to a site visit, the date of which is still to be confirmed. They will advise of the date as soon as it is known.

Following the site visit, Bill Cash has been told the appointed Inspector will prepare a report and recommendation which will be submitted to the Secretary of State who will make the final decision.

Stone MP, Bill Cash said:

“I have written to the Planning Inspectorate to reject the Pingle Lane wind turbines and have continued to make clear my clear opposition to the proposals – and although the appointed Inspector will prepare their own report and recommendation, I have asked them to recommend refusal of proposals in their report to the Secretary of State.”
