Sir Bill Cash MP finds agreement with Government housing minister for further meeting on Housing and Planning Bill

Further to the petition presented by Stone MP, Sir Bill Cash in relation to housing in Cheadle before the Christmas period and his presentation of a Bill to change local planning and housing law, the Government minister agreed with Sir Bill on Friday 9th January to continue discussions with him on the planning system, the national planning policy framework and housing – 

Stone MP, Sir Bill Cash tables Early Day Motion (EDM) noting ‘grave concern that more than 1,000 British dairy farmers will not be paid for their milk’

Stone MP, Sir Bill Cash has tabled an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons which begins as follows, “That this House notes with grave concern that more than 1,000 British dairy farmers will not be paid for their milk from 12 January 2015 because of a financial crisis at the dairy co-operative First Milk …”

Further to news that the Planning Inspectorate has allowed the appeal for the planning permission for up to 113 dwellings on land at Baldwins Gate Farm at Baldwins Gate, local MP, Sir Bill Cash said

Further to the news that City Link has gone into administration, Stone MP, Sir Bill Cash said –

“In the light of the collapse of City Link and the timing of the administration, I have urged the  Secretary of State for Business to facilitate all efforts to rescue jobs, particularly where my constituents have been affected in Stone.
