Bill Cash MP asks those affected by Trent and Mersey Canal incident near Meaford to contact him

In relation to a ‘fish kill’ incident on the Trent and Mersey Canal near the Meaford Power Station in Stone, MP for Stone, Bill Cash said:“I am informed by the Environment Agency that the investigation into the cause of this incident is ongoing. They are also assessing the environmental impacts and their early estimates indicate that over 100 fish have died and approximately 300 metres of the canal has been affected. 

Bill Cash warns of phone scams

Given a number of phone scams within Staffordshire, Stone MP, Bill Cash said: “I would like my constituents to be aware of any calls from scammers who claim to be from 'technical support', asking them to log onto websites and especially if they are asking for money.
