On Sunday 3rd July Church Eaton villagers welcomed their MP Bill Cash to the 10th village festival. The festival is about bringing the people of the village together for an informal celebration of village life.
Bill was seen enjoying, with the villagers, some of the entertainments on offer during the festival weekend weekend. There was a full programme of old and new village life, including family rounders, cricket, morris men, street dancing, salsa dancing, arts and craft exhibition, children’s authors, a fun horse show, birds of prey and village choir concerts that included musicals, spiritual, shanties, mandrigals.
This was another very well attended village festival with something for all to enjoy and be involved in. Bill commented on our good tradition of getting together, sharing and keeping our community spirit strong.
The Church Eaton Recreational Society (CERS) and the festival committee thank Bill for his support.
