Now fully retired from the military, assists in the running of a busy post office, south of Stafford. I am a Swynnerton Parish Councillor and In this capacity, instilled the culture of a pro-active approach to Parish issues, bringing about two new play areas for the under 12yrs – at Yarnfield and Tittensor, a commemorative rose garden dedicated to the Swynnerton Roses (the girls who served at the ammunitions manufacturing facility at the (now) Swynnerton Army Training Camp) and the new development in Swynnerton by Stafford and Rural Housing – a rural exemption site prioritized for local people. I have a passion for rural affairs and will fight to retain (and if necessary, introduce new) essential services for the Ward and am against any development unless an identifiable need can be proven.
